SOWETO – On Sunday (28 August 2011) the Ipelegeng Community Centre in White City was invaded by Kwaito artists of all caliber during the launch of iKwaito iYapoka Sessions.

Kwaito Iyapoka Sessions: Vol1 - 28 August 2011



Heads up Kwaito heads the original Ghetto Child Kwaito is alive and kicking and iKwaito Iyapoka Sessions are all about proving just that. Taking place on Sunday the 28th of August at Epeleng Community Centre, White City Jabavu in Soweto this session promises to showcase the best of Kwaito by Kwaito generals to the masses.
The performance line-up includes: Mimza, Chillimane, King Barella, Ma-R Chronicles, Pollack, Monde Mo, Pablo, Bhoboza, Sika Bopha,  Black Rose, Tsotsi Taal, Kaoz, Ghetto Queen, Gearboxx, Gumba Faya, Msai, Mafesion Makhandizinto, Slash Galaga, Black Out, Sthamzin, Hlela, Crush Stranger, Sfush Nana’s, Manyisa, Biafra, Nozza, Shushu, Voro Virus, Mpandla, Zuksman and Don K. At an entrance of R10 only, audiences will witness more than 30 Kwaito greats sharing a stage.
Rumor has it that a special Kwaito iyapoka song is being recorded and will be launched on the day. Stands are available for selling of CDs, T-Shirts and other merchandise.
